Negozio Blu Architetti Associati

Gustavo Ambrosini, Cristiana Catino, Paola Gatti, Carlo Grometto, Mauro Penna were born in 1965 and in 1993 they founded Negozio Blu firm in Turin.
They realized the first wine and food center “Eataly” in Turin in 2007 with the renovation of the ex factory Carpano. Other projects concerning Eataly: pasta productive site and pasta restaurant in a nineteenth-century pasta factory in Gragnano (2005), a restaurant in Aosta (2006), Foundation Emanuele di Mirafiore in the historic cellars of Fontanafredda (2010), “Eataly Incontra” in Turin city center.
Among the historic buildings restored and destinated to became hotels: Villa Sassi in Turin (2004), Castello of Santa Vittoria d'Alba (2009), “Pastificio Italiano” in Turin (2005).
In the field of residential they designed many buildings since 2003, in Turin and in the Alps.
In Savona they involved in the redesign of the waterfront of the old dock: footbridge (1998) and court compound and a residential tower, offices, shops and hotels (2007, with R. Bofill and Seventy-seven firm).
In 2009 they won (with R. Rigamonti and S. Garner) the 1st Prize of the competition issued by the CEI "Nuove Chiese. Progetto pilota 2008 ", a new parish compound in Racalmuto.
